The event became a meeting place of Filipino students aspiring for a career in the global cruise and hotel industries and the world’s major cruise and hotel operators both in lifestyle and educational tours.

The delegates from 38 participating schools of the said event were Hospitality and Tourism students, graduates of hospitality and tourism courses, hospitality professionals, and other people who seek to pursue a career in this industry.

The participants, who are Hospitality and Tourism students, graduates of hospitality and tourism courses, hospitality professionals, and other people seeking to pursue a career in this industry, were able to gain insights from speakers who are representatives from cruise ship operators and leading hotels.

Meanwhile, Marlon Roño, Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (MMC) President, was also one of the speakers. He shared a brief overview of the cruise and onshore hospitality industry update. He said that the cruise industry (composed of three main groups: the Ocean Lines, the River Cruise, and the Yachts and Leisure) exhibits a dynamic growth and will continue to expand. This goes as well as to the onshore hospitality industry.
